1. Put yourself in place of one of the boys who escaped the crash but was forced to watch "helplessly as Rob died." What is going through your head? How do you feel physically and mentally? How do you think that you will feel tomorrow?
What would be going through my head would be "I can't believe that happened. Rob was such a good guy. I wish i could've done something to help him I mean he was screaming for us." would feel sick to my stomach physically. Mentally I would be broken down I wouldn't even be able to think. I probably wouldn't go to school that's how bad I would feel the next day.
4. In a paragraph rich with sensory detail, write about your own most frightening moment.
The most frightening moment in my life was when my mom and dad's friend got shot. It was in Steubenville he got shot right in front of me, my mom, my dad, and his wife and kids. His kids had to feel like they wanted to die. I know I felt bad, but his family had to feel a lot worse.
7. In his homework assigment, Gerald writes that he would rid the world of 3 things. What 3 things would you rid the world of? Stick to concrete items, and back up your choices with personal reasons why you are eliminating them.
The 3 things I would rid of in the world are bees, medicine, and drugs. The reson for bees is because when I was little I got stung by a bee and had to get taken to the hospital plus they're just annoying. Another thing is Medicine. The reason for this is because I always hated taking medicine no matter what kind. The last one is drugs. I would get rid of drugs because drugs almost killed my brother's friend. He was doing drugs and driving at the same time. These are the things I would rid of the world.
8. Neither of Andy's parents bother to show up for the game. How important is it for you that your parents turn out for the events in which you participate? Explain.
It is important for my parents to show up for an event because I like them to see how I did and so they can tell me what I did wrong. I also like for them to support me.
10. Andy mentions that some kids at school haven't looked him in the face since the acident;one even taped a mean note to is locker. How would you treat Andy now? Elaborate.
I would treat Andy like the same but i would still be mad at him. It was his fault he got Robbie killled because he was drinking and driving.
11.Does doing homework help you to perform better on tests? Does homework seem purposeful to you, or is it basically a waste of time? What alternate do you suggest? Defend your answer.
I don't like doing homework but it does help on tests. You can always do flashcards and have a friend help you study before a test.
