By: Kacey TotoMy favorite place to be is ShortCreek Sportsmens Club. I have been coming here since I was a few moths old! I like to come here because I get to spend time with my family and friends. I always have a good time!
I do many things there such as sit by the warm camp fire with friends and family telling jokes and stories all night, ride four-wheelers, and go hunting in the woods or go fishing in the ponds. Nomatter which you choose it is guaranteed that you will have a good time!
While I am here I have many funny moments between, mud fights, playing in the creek, and getting stuck in the mud. At ShortCreek I get really muddy but I have alot of fun!
ShortCreek also has a four-wheeler raley called Rumble on the Ridge. Thousands of people come from all over to ride the trails. The ralley is about 30 miles long. Before the ralley starts alot of effort goes into preparing the trails, but it is worth it. Sometimes I get to go with my dad on security, to help people who are brokedown or lost. After working all day we help clear the trails.
Some people may think this doesn't sound like fun, but it is what I like to do! That is why ShortCreek is my favorite place to be.
